How the AuditSoft AI Assistant Works

The AuditSoft AI Assistant reviews the evidence collected for a question and summarizes that information within the context of the question.

It can then use the information gathered to help draft your audit results remarks.

Important: The AI Assistant is intended to assist with drafting audit results. When first using the feature in Audit Results, auditors will be prompted to Opt in or Opt Out. Auditors are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI generated content before submitting the final audit.

Drafting with the AI Assistant

When the AI Assistant is available for a field (findings/strengths/OFI/Suggestions), you can use it to generate a draft based on the evidence you have collected.

Before accepting the generated content, review the draft carefully and make any necessary changes to ensure accuracy to represent your audit findings and supporting evidence.

AI Assistant Feedback

In addition to helping draft your remarks, the AuditSoft AI Assistant may provide feedback based on the information that is available within the audit. There are three types of feedback you may see:

Warning on Draft

A Warning on Draft appears when insufficient information is available for the AI Assistant to create a response.

This indicates that additional evidence should be collected or added before finalizing your remarks.

Flagged on Draft

A Flagged on Draft message may appear when the AI Assistant identifies a potential issue that should be reviewed by the auditor.

For example, the AI Assistant may identify a conflict between the collected evidence (Documentation/Interviews/Observations) and drafted comment.

Review the flagged information and determine whether your evidence or remarks should be updated.

Note on Draft

A Note on Draft provides additional guidance to help strengthen your response.

For example, the AI Assistant may recommend collecting additional evidence or information that would improve the quality and completeness of your remarks.

Enabling or Disabling the AI Assistant

The AuditSoft AI Assistant can be enabled or disabled within AuditSoft.

To disable the AI Assistant:

  1. Open the AuditSoft application.

  2. From the homepage, select the Settings icon.

  3. Deselect "Allow use of AI features" to disable the AI Assistant.

To use the feature again, return to the same setting to enable the AuditSoft AI Assistant option.

Availability and Limitations

The AuditSoft AI Assistant is currently subject to the following limitations:

  • Availability depends on your association. The feature may not be available for all AuditSoft users.

  • The AI Assistant is only available for Findings and Notes, Strengths, and Suggestions for Improvements/Opportunities for Improvements.

  • The quality of the generated draft depends on the evidence and information you have collected.

  • AI generated content should always be reviewed before being included in a completed audit.
